This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

The role and responsibility of a first aider.

• Assessing an incident.
• Managing an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally.
• Managing an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
• Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.
• Managing a casualty who is wounded and bleeding.
• Managing a casualty who is in shock. Managing a casualty with a minor injury.

This is a free course that we provide to learners who complete our bespoke funded training programme.
