Our shops rely on the amazing donations from our supporters and we need your help to processes all the lovely things we receive to help us uncover the hidden gems.

So if you want to gain retail and warehouse experience, have some spare time, or want to give back to your community, St Luke’s Hospice Donation Centre is a great place to enjoy the social aspect of volunteering and can give you the chance to gain valuable work experience, learn new skills or put your existing talents to use.

Previous experience is not essential – we have a dedicated team and set-up to help you with this exciting opportunity – all you need is enthusiasm, a confident manner and an interest in retail operations – we’ll give you a full induction, as well as ongoing training and support.

St Luke’s Hospice Shops raise vital funds to help provide free specialist care for people approaching the end of their life in Harrow and Brent.
Our friendly and welcoming team of staff and volunteers at our Donation Centre love meeting new people from all walks of life. We’re always looking for new volunteers to join us and make the service we offer as special as possible for the people of Harrow and Brent.

What we need your help with

 Sorting donations ready for distribution to our shops across Harrow & Brent
 Identifying unsalable clothing items for textile recycling
 Using your skills and knowledge of certain items to identify high value items for sale on our eBay store
 Keeping the warehouse and sorting area clean and tidy
 Processing unsalable books, CDs and DVDs to be recycled
